Blue Angels T-Shirt
Flying in formation at 500 mph, separated by as little as 30 inches, and as low as 200 feet above ground, the Blue Angels soar. These precision performances are why millions of fans have held them in high esteem for more than 60 years. Formed at the direction of the Secretary of the Navy and the Chief of Naval Operations in 1946, they were originally named the Navy Flight Exhibition Team. Their first performance was in Jacksonville, Florida. Since 1955, their home base has been the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida. Currently, the “Blues” fly the F/A-18 Hornet. Our Blue Angels T-shirt is based on actual photographs taken in flight by Major Brian Shul, USAF (Ret.), an honorary Blue Angel. Available on White.
